Melvin was a reasonably attractive guy in his mid thirties who had a boring job, a drab apartment, ho-hum friends and an almost nonexistent sex life.
He wasn't sure exactly how this had come about. Looking back, he recalled having great fun during his high school and college years....dated a lot of great looking girls and had exciting sex with most of them. Then, after college, Marvin had made a conscious effort to leave off sowing any more wild oats in favor of being mature and responsible by keeping his nose to the grindstone and focusing on getting ahead in his career as an accountant.

George was an adventurous sort of fellow who often bemoaned his fate in being born a century or two too late to be a swashbuckling pirate of the high seas or an explorer fearlessly exploring new and uncharted territories in the jungles of darkest Africa.

Larry was a salesman for a national chain of farm supply stores and traveled an entire region, making stops at various stores and taking orders for equipment and various supplies.
His job paid well, between the base salary and commissions, but he was on the road a lot of the time. This didn't particularly bother Larry since he was a confirmed bachelor and was well satisfied with his no-maintenance condo and nights spent in a succession of motels as he traversed his territory, making sales along the way. He had grown accustomed to this routine and thoroughly enjoyed being on the move most of the time. One thing he could say with absolute certainty is that his job was never boring since he met new people frequently and often called on new farm supply merchants in different areas of his route.

You would never look at Mary White and think she was sexy or a candidate for adult dating. She seemed to be the stereotypical librarian: never married spinster, horn rimmed glasses, mousy brown hair in a sensible bun, no makeup, longish skirts worn with baggy long sleeved sweaters and blouses year round. In short, everything about Mary White was prim and proper, from the top of her bun to the tips of her toes shod in low heeled loafers. Sexy? Not in this lifetime!

Millie sometimes felt that she was born too late, being extremely prudish and Victorian in her thinking---very much out of sync with the modern world she lived in---until she discovered adult dating and leaped into the 21st century with a bang!
This is the story of how Millie, so modest that she had detested and dreaded gym class in school because she didn't like to undress in front of the other girls and never went swimming because she felt over-exposed in even a one piece bathing suit, found a new world on an adult dating site.

This is a story about a man named Dave, who discovered adult dating and became the Mouse That Roared!
Dave was a laid back kind of guy that came across as basically a bit meek and mild mannered. He had always been that way, ever since he was a kid and it had not served him well with the opposite sex. First girls and then later on, grown women, seemed to be completely turned off by his quiet, rather wimpy personality. Dave knew this. In fact, he was painfully aware of it. But he was a product of his upbringing. During childhood, nobody in Dave's house ever raised their voices or even made any inflammatory or confrontational statements. Actually, this wasn't just the case in Dave's house...his entire family was like that on both sides.
